They are expected to teach new hires how to effectively execute the role of team member. What you get to do: Ensure new team members are given a firm foundation Holding new team members accountable for completing the assigned trainings Communicate clearly to new hires about expectations and standards Must be able to consistently model behaviors expected of a Food & Beverage team member Must be able to understand food sanitation, cleanliness standards, federal, state and local health requirements and consistently follow all company and departmental policies Must be able to conduct Facility Culinary Foundations Training for new team members within assigned facility, including conducting facility tours and all safety related training Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of and train "On the Job Trainer" station tools Must be able to monitor the progress of new team members, conduct a 14 days safety check and re-direct behavior if needed Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and members of park leadership Must be able to perform other miscellaneous duties as required What it takes to succeed: Must have minimum of 6 months experience in Food & Beverage Must be a current part time or full-time ambassador Must have strong written and verbal communications skills Must be able to communicate effectively with ambassadors, guests and leadership Must have strong guest service skills and a desire to assist others Must be able to multi-task Must have high school diploma or equivalent Must have Safe Staff certification Must have completed RCS Responsible Vendor Training (alcohol) training Must remain compliant with all training offered by the Food & Beverage Department Must be comfortable and able to work with all food types, including food allergens in any dining facility Must be able to successfully complete Facility Trainer audition Must be comfortable to working around fumes/dust/odor Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Must be able to work with and around chemicals The perks of the position: Ambassadors will enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment, and great teammates, as well as: FREE park admission Discounts on park admission tickets and passes for family and friends Park discounts on food, merchandise, etc. Scholarship opportunities Exclusive employee events and giveaways EEO Employer: SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
