AI-generated questions, company research, and talking points tailored to this role

Requirements

  • Sharp analytical chops. You can pull data, build a model, and pressure-test an assumption without waiting for a data request queue.
  • Crisp written communication. Your docs, memos, and updates make decisions faster, not slower.
  • Proven ability to own something end to end, from scope to ship, without hand-holding.
  • Evidence of cross-functional collaboration. You have worked with people outside your function and kept them aligned without formal authority.
  • AI-native. You default to building with AI, not asking for more headcount.
  • Willing to be based in Antwerp HQ or the UK, with regular travel to HQ.
  • Mindset
  • High agency, low ego. You see what needs to happen and you make it happen. You do not care who gets credit.
  • Learner. You are hungry, coachable, and you compound quickly. You want to be unrecognisably better in 12 months.
  • Momentum is a feature. You ship a rough v1 this week rather than a perfect v3 next quarter.
  • Quality bar. When you hand something over, it is polished, documented, and the team is trained.
  • Curious and rigorous.

Additional Information

About Conveo Conveo is the AI research platform enabling fast, affordable, and high quality consumer / B2B research. Global brands like Unilever, Google, and Orange use our AI video interviewer to generate insights across marketing, product, and research teams. The Context Conveo is scaling fast and has very ambitious revenue targets. Every function (Engineering, Product, Sales, CS, Marketing) is getting sharper in isolation. To keep scaling, we are building at lightning speed and the places we lose momentum now sit at the seams: the handoff from Sales to CS, the expansion motion in our top accounts, the onboarding ramp, the feedback loop from customers back into Product. GTM Operations is the team that walks into those seams, diagnoses where they leak, designs the new way of working, proves it cross-functionally, and hands it off as a playbook the functional team can run without us. Net Revenue Retention and Expansion ARR are our scoreboard. You won't own the number. You will use it as the guiding light for every leak you chase and every playbook you ship. This role is the operator behind the motion. The Strategy & Ops Lead frames the bet and owns the end-to-end arc. You are the person who makes it actually land: you run the diagnostic, you own a workstream inside the project, you build the playbook, you keep momentum every week. If you do this well for 12 to 18 months, you run your own motion end to end. Your Mission 1. Run the diagnostic with rigor The first 30 days of every motion is diagnostic. Your job is to walk into a function, find where the effort is not converting to outcome, and ground the diagnosis in evidence. Pull the data. Build the cohort, the funnel, the churn view, the cycle-time chart, whatever shows where the motion is leaking. Shadow the calls, sit in the rituals, read the tickets, join the project. You know how the motion actually runs, not just how it's described on paper. Talk to the operators. Interview the CSMs, AEs, onboarding leads, support team. Synthesize what you hear into patterns, not anecdotes. Size the leak in revenue or time terms. Make it easy for the exec team to rank the fix against the next one. 2. Own a workstream inside strategic cross-functional projects and own smaller projects in full When the Lead ships a cross-functional project, you are the single accountable owner of a piece of it. You drive momentum on that piece every week, no one has to chase you. You also manage smaller projects end to end. Run the workstream end to end: plan, cadence, artefacts, decisions, escalations. Keep the cross-functional stakeholders aligned. Send the weekly update before anyone asks for it. Make the status obvious. Ship a v1 in days or weeks, not quarters. Measure it against the KPIs. Iterate until the numbers move. When something slips, you surface it early with the fix already drafted. Never let a blocker sit quietly. 3. Turn the motion into a playbook A motion that only works because the Strategy & Ops team is running it is not a system. You are the person who turns "this worked" into "this runs on rails." Document the playbook: the workflow, the triggers, the decisions, the escalation paths, the scripts. Make it so clear a new recruit can run it on day one. Build the templates, dashboards, and trackers the functional team will use after the handover. Automate the repetitive parts. Default to the AI or workflow tool that removes the work, not a new hire. Train the functional team to own it. Stay on call for 4 to 6 weeks post-handover. If the team can't take it over yet, you continue to own it.
