Responsibilities
- Editorial & Content Strategy
- Evolve and execute Proxima's multi-channel content strategy, promoting our values, mission, vision and technology progress across all key audiences.
- Own the editorial calendar, mapping output to company milestones, the science and policy news cycle, investor relations rhythms, and conferences.
- Produce content for all formats: videos, long-form explainers, blog posts, flyers, exhibitions, company announcements, newsletters, and more.
- Translate Proxima's narrative into accessible, tailored language for a variety of audiences without losing scientific credibility.
- Set and enforce editorial standards for accuracy, tone, and style across everything published by or on behalf of Proxima.
- Build and manage a network of external agencies and freelancers.
- Develop multi-channel thought leadership content for our executive team.
- Maintain a well-organized library of all content and multimedia assets, ensuring the team can move fast without reinventing the wheel.
- Video & Multimedia Production
- Own Proxima's video strategy: cinematic and documentary-style content that defines how the company tells its stories - from manufacturing videos to team spotlights to milestone content.
- Brief, direct, and manage external production companies and freelance videographers/editors.
- Package and adapt video content for different channels and audiences.
- Build internal capability for rapid, lightweight video and multimedia production for social and digital channels.
- Maintain a well-organized, accessible archive of all multimedia assets.
- Collaborate with the Brand & Design Lead on visual direction and motion graphics.
- Social Media & Digital Channels
- Own Proxima's social media strategy and day-to-day execution across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
- Grow and engage Proxima's audiences across channels - building a community around the mission, not just broadcasting updates.
- Use performance data to continuously sharpen strategy: what's landing, what's not, and where the next opportunity is.
- Own copy and content strategy for the Proxima website, working with the Brand & Design Lead on the visual layer.
