Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior analysts and directors within the Rating division, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations
- Coordinate and manage complex calendars, schedule meetings across multiple time zones, and prepare meeting materials and agendas
- Process and manage rating-related documentation, correspondence, and client communications with high attention to detail and confidentiality
- Support the preparation of rating committee materials, presentations, and regulatory filings while maintaining accuracy and meeting strict deadlines
- Liaise with internal teams and external clients to facilitate smooth communication and information flow across the Rating division
- All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week
Requirements
- Basic Required Qualifications:
- An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 2+ years of experience in administrative support roles, preferably within financial services or credit rating agencies
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database management systems commonly used in financial services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Cantonese, with the ability to interact professionally with senior stakeholders and external clients
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain high standards of accuracy in documentation and data management
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting senior-level professionals and coordinating complex scheduling across different time zones
- Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) to support our diverse client base across Greater China
- Previous experience in credit rating agencies, investment banks, or financial institutions with exposure to rating processes and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or related field
- We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global Ratings office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
