Maintenance Supervisor, Mechanical Kalasin

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical maintenance activities to ensure equipment availability, minimize downtime, and support plant performance targets.
• Perform and supervise preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for mechanical systems, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, engineering standards, and operating procedures.
• Troubleshoot recurring mechanical issues, respond to equipment breakdowns, and implement long-term corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Coordinate daily maintenance schedules with production teams, monitor equipment performance, and maintain accurate records of work orders, downtime causes, and spare parts usage.
• Provide hands-on coaching and technical guidance to maintenance technicians, ensuring effective work allocation, capability development, and discipline in maintenance practices.
• Support TPM/WCM activities, especially Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Planned Maintenance (PM), and participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure availability of critical mechanical spare parts and maintain proper technical documentation, PM checklists, mechanical drawings, and equipment logs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or High Vocational Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a food, beverage, or chemical manufacturing plant.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and solid understanding of rotating equipment, pumps, conveyors, dryers, and utility systems.
• Experience working with TPM/WCM methodologies and a strong commitment to safety and equipment reliability.
• Ability to lead and coach maintenance technicians, along with basic English communication skills for reading technical documents.
• A safety-first leader with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
• A practical problem-solver with sound decision-making and troubleshooting capability.
• Well organized and able to manage multiple maintenance priorities under time pressure.
• A collaborative team player who works effectively across production, engineering, and quality teams.

As a Maintenance Supervisor, Mechanical, you will lead day-to-day mechanical maintenance execution across preventive, predictive, and corrective activities to support equipment reliability and operational continuity. This role reports to the Maintenance, Reliability & Utility Manager and provides day-to-day supervision, coaching, and technical guidance to maintenance technicians and cross-functional teams.
