Responsibilities

  • Oversee mechanical maintenance activities to ensure equipment availability, minimize downtime, and support plant performance targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or High Vocational Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a food, beverage, or chemical manufacturing plant.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and solid understanding of rotating equipment, pumps, conveyors, dryers, and utility systems.
  • Experience working with TPM/WCM methodologies and a strong commitment to safety and equipment reliability.
  • Ability to lead and coach maintenance technicians, along with basic English communication skills for reading technical documents.
  • A safety-first leader with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
  • A practical problem-solver with sound decision-making and troubleshooting capability.
  • Well organized and able to manage multiple maintenance priorities under time pressure.
  • A collaborative team player who works effectively across production, engineering, and quality teams.

This role reports to the Maintenance, Reliability & Utility Manager and provides day-to-day supervision, coaching, and technical guidance to maintenance technicians and cross-functional teams.
