Responsibilities
- Oversee and reconcile daily revenue transactions from Rooms, Food & Beverage, Banquet, Spa, Gallery, Retail, and other revenue-generating departments to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare, verify, and distribute Daily Revenue Reports promptly to management for informed decision-making
- Supervise and audit Front Office transactions including paid-outs, rebates, allowances, adjustments, house-use rooms, complimentary rooms, no-shows, and cancellations to maintain revenue integrity
- Validate that all rebates, voids, discounts, adjustments, and complimentary transactions have valid documentation and authorized approvals
- Review and reconcile guest ledger, Deposit Ledger, city ledger balances, and Gift Voucher transactions to ensure accurate financial records
- Verify room revenue, occupancy, room statistics, market segments, and PMS-related reports for accuracy and completeness
- Audit POS and PMS system interfaces to confirm accurate transfer and posting of revenue data
- Examine Food & Beverage voids, discounts, cancellations, and banquet revenue breakdowns against supporting documents and Banquet Event Orders for compliance
- Verify Event and Meeting revenues to ensure all charges are recorded and settled according to billing instructions
- Reconcile credit card transactions and investigate discrepancies in collaboration with Finance and Credit departments
- Review all revenue adjustments for proper authorization and adherence to hotel policies and internal controls
- Maintain organized filing and documentation for audit, compliance, and reference purposes
- Assist with month-end closing activities, journal preparation, and revenue-related reconciliations as needed
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and audit requests from Finance and Management teams
- Guide and support junior team members in daily income audit operations to ensure team effectiveness
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support operational goals
- Required competencies and certifications
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Proven 3 to 5 years' experience in income audit or similar role, preferably in hospitality, demonstrating ability to manage revenue accuracy and compliance
- Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to improve revenue management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to present financial information clearly and effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and facilitate communication
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
