Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise, guidance, and management support at Eglin Air Force Base.
- Monitor and manage wetlands, floodplains, riparian areas, watersheds, and erosion control projects.

- Ability to work long hours outdoors under varying weather conditions, lift and carry heavy loads, and occasionally work odd hours.
- Prepare, develop, and coordinate Air Force environmental documentation, schedule design reviews and provide watershed permit oversight.
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an applicable field (e.g., Natural Resources, Forestry, Ecology) or equivalent combination of education or experience.
- Two years of related experience.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in use of ESRI/ArcGIS mapping software.
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Knowledge of research directing eligibility listing and Section 404.
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with appropriate laboratory and/or technical equipment
- Ability to effectively utilize a computer and applicable software to create databases, perform statistical analyses, present data and perform other computer related tasks.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Additional Requirements:
- -Ability to obtain a valid US driver's license and successful completion of criminal background check required.
