Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: It is the responsibility of this role to safely move material within the warehouse and safely stage, load, and unload product from trucks. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Follow all established safety procedures in plant and warehouse. Ensure that forklift is in proper, safe working order and report any issues to supervisor or team leader. Safely use forklift to transport and stage product in accordance with established procedures. Safely transfer product from one pallet/tray to another as required. Safely use forklift to load/unload products into/out of trailers in accordance with established procedures. Properly and consistently use proper scanning scripts for all movement of product. Competently utilize JDE system for all paperwork and inventory management. Correctly select pallet sizes for customers and ensure pallets are kept in the correct location. Communicate effectively with team members electronically, by phone, and in person. Perform any other duty as assigned by management.
