You'll be working full time, 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday) helping ensure the safe and smooth running of services for the people in our care. Note: This role is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) Cygnet Bury Hudson provides a wide range of secure mental health services for men including individuals with a diagnosis of personality disorder. Maintain a good working relations hip with clinicians & caring professionals Attend & take minutes at a variety of clinical meetings, hearings & tribunals Produce high quality admission & discharge summaries & tribunal reports To attend ward rounds with the multi-disciplinary team and patients in attendance. To take accurate minutes, summarising discussions and noting related actions. To ensure that ward round summaries are then saved in a timely manner on the electronic patient information system. Service orientated, with Medical Secretary experience & knowledge of mental health Flexible, adaptable, organised & responsible An excellent typist, ideally to RSA 2 level & with audio transcription skills Calm under pressure & able to work independently & as part of a team A strong written & verbal communicator with excellent interpersonal skills Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word and databases Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
