Due to continued growth, we are looking for an SMB Account Executive to join our team at ThoughtSpot. Responsibilities
- Own a territory of SMB accounts with a focus on acquiring new ThoughtSpot customers.
- Prospect and generate pipeline through outbound outreach, inbound lead follow-up, and partner collaboration.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand customer goals, challenges, and business needs.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and communicate ThoughtSpot's value proposition.
- Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, from initial engagement to close.
- Build relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting data within CRM systems.
- Consistently work toward achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
- What You Bring:
- 1+ year of quota-carrying closing experience in a SaaS, technology, or business-to-business sales environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage opportunities and close business.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Highly motivated, coachable, and eager to learn.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teammates and cross-functional partners.
- A growth mindset and desire to build a long-term career in sales.
- Experience using sales tools, CRM platforms, and AI-powered productivity solutions is a plus.
- Ability to leverage data and insights to prioritize accounts and drive pipeline growth.
- Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in SaaS, analytics, business intelligence, or data-related technologies is a plus.
- Experience with outbound prospecting and pipeline generation.
