Production Manager - Frame & Truss

Bunnings Frames and & Truss are now looking for a Production Manager for our modern F&T Manufacturing Plant in Truganina Victoria. As the Production Manager for our F&T plant in Truganina VIC you will be responsible for the ongoing daily operations for the manufacturing of Timber Frames, Floors and Roof Trusses. This new F&T plant has been operating for three years and continues to grow therefore you will be responsible for the continuing Recruitment, Training and Develop your team and implementing procedures. You will be supported by a long-standing and accomplished Manufacturing Manager whilst being able to bring in fresh ideas to help efficiency, production and team development in Yard Supervisors, Automation Specialists, Production Team and Forklift Drivers. You will also be involved in the implementation of new equipment and machinery, engaging with the local community and a wide variety of tasks essential to the success of this manufacturing plant. In addition to the above, your role will help drive the future of F&T at Bunnings, by developing local strategies and business plans that support the overall long-term growth of the national F&T business. You will be required to monitor and measure customer service levels, liaise with the Commercial Sales teams key relevant stakeholders to educate them on manufacturing capabilities, products, service that will help drive sales and increase greater knowledge for Best Experience whilst also ensuring manufacturing efficiency and effectiveness. With 5 Frame & Truss Sites operating in Minto, Warnervale, Hallam, and Wacol there couldn't be a better time to join the Bunnings Commercial team as we look to expand our F&T offering across VIC, QLD, and NSW. You will have access to a wide range of knowledge and experience whilst reporting to our National F&T Manager. With plans to grow in the Victoria region you can expect to lead the overall team of 35 - 50 with Morning and Afternoon shifts running in this busy location. You will have a variety of Vendors, Suppliers, Clients, and greater Bunnings Group to work with in which your leadership and influencing skills will be tested daily. As the F&T team continues to grow your role will be essential in helping to streamline processes and manage internal expectations. Whats involved: Action customer feedback to improve the end-to-end customer experience Manage P&L for your Bunnings F&T Plant Raise Safety and Awareness whilst identifying and correcting unsafe situations. Manage Stock, Financial performance whilst managing Customer expectations You'll need: As an Production Manager for Frame and Truss you will be a highly driven individual with a strong knowledge of Frame & Truss, Construction or Manufacturing. Previous experience in leading large teams with a focus on Health and Safety, Manufacturing Efficiency with an ability to Develop large teams. You must be able to wear many hats, influence multiple stakeholders and have a solid understanding of P&L reporting, KPI's (Margin, Timelines, Sales) and exceeding client expectations.
