POSITION SUMMARY: The Neonatologist will join a well-established group of neonatologists and pediatric hospitalists who provide comprehensive, family-centered care across the system. The clinical commitment spans both locations for a total of 0.6-1.0 FTE , offering flexibility in scheduling and a supportive, team-based care model. The network includes: 18-bed Level III NICU at Boston Medical Center - Brighton 10-bed Special Care Nursery and Well Baby Nursery at Boston Medical Center - South Faculty appointment at Boston University School of Medicine is available, commensurate with experience, within our academic and clinical partnership. Position: Neonatologist Department: Newborn Medicine Schedule: 40 hours ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES: Provide inpatient clinical care in the NICU, Special Care Nursery, and Well Baby Nursery. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, care coordination, and family communication. Collaborate closely with neonatologists, pediatric hospitalists, nurses, and ancillary staff to deliver evidence-based neonatal care. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives across the neonatal service. Engage in teaching of residents and medical students, as appropriate. JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: MD or equivalent degree. Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine . Eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
