Asst Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance and routine inspection of equipment including pumps and processing machines to ensure operational reliability
• Perform testing and commissioning of new equipment at factory and customer sites to validate functionality
• Create and organize detailed service reports for customers to document maintenance and service activities
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal support teams to resolve issues and provide status updates
• Manage assigned projects from order receipt to customer handover, ensuring timely and smooth execution
• Perform basic repair and troubleshooting on equipment and associated control systems to minimize downtime
• Apply knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems to support maintenance and repair tasks
• Maintain good housekeeping practices and demonstrate initiative in troubleshooting equipment issues
• Support system commissioning and qualification activities including SAT, IQ, and OQ to meet compliance standards
• Ensure proper documentation of all project-related activities and technical information
• Collaborate closely with customers to understand and meet their technical requirements
• Required competencies and certifications
• Valid Driving License 2B & 3 (essential for travel and site visits)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings for accurate maintenance and commissioning
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation
• Good command of English and Mandarin, both written and spoken, to communicate with overseas customers and support teams
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• ITE or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics service engineering
• Willingness to travel within the Southeast Asia region for project and service assignments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and colleagues
• Self-motivated, energetic, and able to work independently with initiative
