Job Description: Support to Technicians: Assist with simple mechanical tasks such as guard removal/installation and tool retrieval Organize and stage parts to ensure technicians have what they need, when they need it Move used parts and materials in and out of the shop to maintain smooth workflow Prepare and clean work areas to minimize waste and waiting time Equipment & Facility Operations: Safely operate floor sweepers, forklifts, and skid steers Wash and clean equipment and service trucks Move equipment in and out of bays to maintain schedule adherence 5S & Continuous Improvement: Perform daily 5S activities: Sort: Remove unnecessary items Set in Order: Organize tools and work areas Shine: Clean equipment, floors, and bays Standardize: Follow established work procedures Sustain: Maintain and improve workplace standards Participate in kaizen-identify and communicate opportunities to reduce waste and improve flow Support safe, consistent, and standardized shop operations General Duties: General cleaning of shop, yard, tools, and equipment Assist with garbage removal, material handling, and small tasks that support team efficiency Uphold a safe working environment at all times
