Resident Technical Officer

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in building works, as well as HDB, JTC, and LTA projects.
• Registered Resident Technical Officer (C&S) with IES or ACES.
• Sound knowledge of BCA regulations, local codes, and workplace safety requirements.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.

Additional Information

Supervision of construction activities to ensure compliance with BCA regulations and client requirements. Liaise with main contractors, architects, and engineers for the approval of shop drawings and resolution of site issues. To ensure that all Structural, Architectural installation works at site are carried out in accordance with approved plans, building-by-laws and contract specifications. To assist the Architects/Engineers to supervise the contractors and co-ordinate with consultants to ensure work on site is done to achieve the objectives of quality and timeliness. Management of site safety in accordance with Ministry of Manpower guidelines. Attendance at site meetings and preparation of meeting minutes. Monitoring and reporting on the progress of rectification works and quality of materials.
