About the role

As an Account Director , you'll own the relationship portfolio of one of our biggest, high-profile clients, ensuring long-term success, exceptional service delivery, and profitable growth. You will understand the opportunity and value of technology to clients, directing teams, projects, and deliverables in line with a future-facing, AI-enabled offering that impacts the end-to-end delivery process. Responsibilities

  • Own and grow key client relationships as a senior point of contact and trusted advisor.

  • Identify and pursue commercial opportunities, ensuring healthy revenue and profitability.
  • Oversee the delivery of multiple, complex scopes of work, ensuring projects are on time, on budget, and of the highest quality.
  • Translate client needs into clear briefs and scopes, balancing client value with business objectives.
  • Resolve complex client concerns and manage escalations professionally.
  • Partner with creative, operations, and finance teams to align client priorities with business capabilities.
  • Provide strategic insights, reports, and recommendations to inform client decisions and internal planning.
  • Lead and mentor Account Managers and Executives, fostering a culture of collaboration and commercial focus.
  • About You
  • The essentials:
  • Language Skills: Professional-level fluency in Dutch and English (both written and spoken) is required for managing this specific portfolio.
  • Client Leadership: Proven success in managing and growing high-value client relationships at a senior level.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong ability to identify and convert revenue opportunities while ensuring profitability.
  • Operational Expertise: Skilled in scoping, budgeting, and delivering large, multi-market projects.
  • Team Management: Experience in developing and mentoring high-performing account teams.
  • Client-Obsessed: A deep curiosity for client businesses and a drive to deliver measurable growth.
  • Strategic & Insightful: Ability to use data and market trends to shape account strategy and unlock opportunities.
  • Collaborative Leader: Ability to inspire cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless, best-in-class client experience.
  • Comfortable with difficult but collaborative conversations both internally and externally.
