Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Director, Engineering, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
- Follow policies, procedures and service standards
- Provide quality work in keeping with Brand standards outlined by supervisor
- Able to drive standard operational vehicles such as pickup truck, garbage truck, forklift and skyreach lift.
- Act as backup relief sanitation attendant responsible for completing all duties for the role
- Safely operate tools such as hand tools, chainsaw, hoist, rigging material, log splitter
- Safely deploy and utilize ladders, and scaffolding equipment
- Maintain the cleanliness of mechanical rooms, vaults and storage areas.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies including documentation as required
- Adhere to the hotel's vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel vehicles

- Your experience and skills include:
- Previous experience is an asset
- High school and/or technical school education
- Must be in excellent physical condition
- Previous Laborer experience required
- Able to repair and replace brick pathways
- Ability to work safely and ensure co-workers are working safely and adhering to the JPL safe work practices and confined space operations
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Mechanically inclined and able to operate equipment an asset
- Mechanical/Maintenance experience an asset
- Must possess a Valid Alberta drivers license
- Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
- Starting rate of pay: $22.08 per hour
