About the role

You will serve as a Museum Curator (GS9) for the Beverley R. Robinson Collection of Historic Naval Prints inUS NAVAL ACADEMY MUSEUM. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Museum Curator performing the following duties: 1) Managing the creation, design, and implementation of museum exhibitions including writing text panels, labels, and scholarly materials for temporary and permanent exhibits; 2) Responsibility for a museum collection or a sub-collection within a museum collection, including cataloging and inventorying of items in the collection; 3) Researching and acquiring relevant pieces to add to a museum collection; 4) Responding to questions from a variety of sources on naval history and items in the collection; and 5) Familiarity with the Beverly R. Robinson collection of historic prints.
