Job Description/Preferred Qualifications This role will be based in Celtic Lakes. Our new 237,000-square-foot Newport facility provides additional production and customer collaboration spaces, including 25,000 square feet of R&D clean rooms, 35,000 square feet of state-of-the-art manufacturing space and tool demo areas, all designed to support development of semiconductor process technologies across advanced packaging, power devices, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), radio frequency (RF) and photonics sector technology! Working in our existing Procurement Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing best practise methodology in all Supply chain functions. This will include carrying out and assisting in the following capabilities and responsibilities. Your day to day responsibilities will include: Demonstrate key expedite capability Lead time reduction initiatives with Purchasing / Spares Organisations Undertake problem solving and trouble-shooting Cost reduction and inventory reduction initiatives Develop & evaluate new suppliers Develop good relationships with current suppliers Summarise results in a written report or presentation formats MRP / SAP understanding Global supply chain and logistics initiatives Develop and understand key SPTS purchasing processes Generating SAP reports and creating controlled measures Understanding and creating Data to support KPI's Measuring market conditions and identifying key global constraints Interfacing with SPARES to support tool down scenario and for regional forecasts Developing reports to support OTIF to SPARES >90% KLA is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
