We're looking for a Committees & Tribunals Officer (Disciplinary Committee) to join our Milton Keynes team on a permanent basis. The role offers a salary of £31,900 , hybrid working ( 2 office/3 home ), and 9:00am-5:00pm hours. Additional office attendance may be required during the first 8 weeks for training. Travel to London for hearings may be required. What you will be doing; Administer tribunal hearings end-to-end , from scheduling and issuing notices to attending hearings in person and online as the main administrative point of contact Draft and process decision letters, minutes and publicity following committee hearings, ensuring timely upload to the case management system Prepare, collate and electronically upload committee papers, managing all pre and post-meeting administration for Disciplinary Committee hearings Take full ownership of a varied caseload across ICAEW's Disciplinary Committees, managing each case from referral through to conclusion Handle queries from members and complainants professionally, referring complex matters appropriately while maintaining accuracy and composure under pressure Maintain accurate case records, closing concluded matters in the case management system and keeping the hearings calendar current. What you will need; Experience in a legal, regulatory or case management environment, with a legal minded approach to administrative work - a law degree, LPC or equivalent qualification is an advantage Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to manage a varied caseload, meet competing deadlines and maintain accuracy in a busy environment Excellent written communication skills, proficiency in M365 (Word and Excel), resilience under pressure, and willingness to travel to London regularly for committee hearings and tribunals What you can expect from us; We believe doing your best work starts with feeling supported both professionally and personally.
