• Current unrestricted or pending Licensure in the state of Michigan

• Successful completion of a Physician Assistant program
• Licensure as Physician Assistant and state DEA license to prescribe medications
• Current prescriptive authority and collaborative agreement with oversight physician(s) should also be in place
• Must maintain all requirements for medical staff privileges
• Ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet, presentation programs, and other software relevant to the job
• Regularly communicates clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing (Utilizing SBAR technique)
• Communicates with internal customers such as, physicians

Location BMH Bronson Methodist Hospital Title APP Medical Oncology / Hematology PA-C or NP - Kalamazoo, MI Bronson Healthcare in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking an experienced oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its high-performing cancer team at the Bronson Cancer Center - Kalamazoo in Kalamazoo, MI. Position Highlights: Will practice in Kalamazoo five days per week at Bronson's brand new facility that opened in January 2021 and Bronson Methodist Hospital Will join a practice consisting of 7 medical oncology & hematology physicians, 6 advanced practice providers, and multiple other clinical staff providing nurse navigation, survivorship, social work, nutritional support, and palliative care This is a hospital-employed inpatient and outpatient position working M-F, 8 am to 5 pm APP will see patients in the outpatient setting and participate in inpatient work on a rotational basis with other APP to include rounding and admissions No call required currently Ideal Candidate will have Medical Oncology and Hematology experience Potential opportunity for an APP leadership role
