Trauma Therapist / Program Manager, in-person, Recovery | The Farley Center | Williamsburg, Virginia About the Job: The Program Manager is responsible for the planning and implementation of program goals, objectives, staffing, resources, and equipment, timetables, expected outcome and measures for assigned areas of responsibility. Coordinates client care, monitoring and functioning within budgetary guidelines, and maintenance of regulatory standards in a manner that assures the deliverance of quality care in a cost-effective manner. Roles and Responsibilities: - Develops and manages administrative and clinical operations that provide quality care and outcomes for the clients. - Plans and implements program goals, objectives, staffing, resources and equipment, timetables, expected outcome and measures for assigned areas of responsibility. - Manages a team of highly engaged members thru hiring, orienting, performance assessment and management, motivating, training, scheduling, and coaching to meet department goals and ensure effective and efficient department operation. - Oversees the program's budget and policies regarding participant involvement, program requirements, and benefits. Provides management and oversight for the facility program. - Develops and implements procedures to ensure efficient operations of the program; continually identifies opportunities to improve program's efficiency; coordinates care delivery and workflow; oversees scheduling, registration, discharge, and billing processes for clients receiving services according to facility procedure. - Develops and implements treatment plans; develops, maintains, and audits charts and records for clients. - Serves as liaison and provides consultation with other staff on related issues, regulations, and standards pertaining to area of clinical specialty. - Ensures that procedures and workflow are consistent with organizational objectives, treatment protocol, regulations, and standards of care; ensures that operations conform to established environmental, safety, and infection control requirements. - Provides outreach services in area of clinical specialty, as needed. - Responsible for a limited caseload as needed. - Directs crisis intervention efforts and intervene as required. - Participates in regularly scheduled treatment team meetings. - Bachelor's degree in behavioral or mental health or closely related field required. Master's degree in behavioral or mental health where required by state for licensed clinicians. - Four or more years of experience working with the population of the facility required. - Licensed counselor/therapist, as required by the state and for the area of clinical expertise. - CPR and de-escalation certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
