- Strong understanding of ETF mechanics, including primary/secondary market interactions, creation/redemption processes, and arbitrage dynamics
- Solid knowledge of index methodologies (e.g., rebalancing, constituent changes) and corporate actions (e.g., dividends, splits)
- Deep understanding of market microstructure and regional trading nuances across APAC exchanges
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high degree of ownership and accountability
- Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and capable of quickly learning and adapting in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with traders, quants, and engineers
- Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python, SQL, Bash
- Business-level Japanese proficiency is preferred
