Requirements

  • Essential
  • Experience working with children, young people, or in a care setting
  • Understanding of safeguarding principles
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Resilient, patient, and calm under pressure
  • Flexible to work 2 days on / 4 days off
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
  • Desirable
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
  • Knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015
  • Experience supporting trauma, SEMH, or challenging behaviour
  • Physical Intervention & De-escalation Training
  • Full, accredited training is provided - no prior qualification required. You will receive thorough training from day one, with ongoing refreshers. Our approach prioritises de-escalation, and you will always be supported.
