Requirements
- Essential
- Experience working with children, young people, or in a care setting
- Understanding of safeguarding principles
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Resilient, patient, and calm under pressure
- Flexible to work 2 days on / 4 days off
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Desirable
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
- Knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015
- Experience supporting trauma, SEMH, or challenging behaviour
- Physical Intervention & De-escalation Training
- Full, accredited training is provided - no prior qualification required. You will receive thorough training from day one, with ongoing refreshers. Our approach prioritises de-escalation, and you will always be supported.
