Responsibilities

  • What You'll Be Working On
  • Store Design Conceptualization: Partner with the Sr. Director of Store Design and Creative Services to develop innovative and on-brand retail store concepts and standards that align with each brand's identity and values.
  • Retail Space Planning: Design, produce, and review comprehensive store layouts for our extensive brand portfolio and global partners. Design, evolve, and maintain global design guidelines for varied channels and market distribution.
  • Interior Design: Select and source appropriate materials, fixtures, furnishings, and decor elements that enhance the overall aesthetics and ambiance of each retail location and office.
  • 3D Visualizations: Develop detailed 3D renderings and visualizations to effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders, ensuring a unified vision for each project.
  • Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end store design process, from concept to completion, while adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including visual merchandising, brand management, marketing, and operations, to ensure that the store design aligns with broader business objectives and enhances the overall customer experience.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in store design and customer experience to continually innovate and elevate our retail spaces.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of store projects.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure all store designs comply with local building codes, accessibility requirements, and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in store design, retail space planning, and brand experience.
  • Strong proficiency in 2D and 3D design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Demonstrated portfolio of successful retail store design projects with an emphasis on creating immersive and compelling customer experiences.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically while maintaining a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts effectively to stakeholders and team members.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of construction processes and industry standards for retail store builds.
