Job Title: Social Worker - MASH Team Location: Knowsley Pay Rate: £37.23 per hour Job Description: Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced and proactive Social Worker to join their client's Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team at Knowsley. This is a key frontline role where you'll be responsible for making informed decisions to safeguard children at risk, working closely with partner agencies in a fast-paced environment. What will your responsibilities be? Conduct initial assessments of safeguarding referrals received from professionals and the public. Liaise with partner agencies (e.g., police, health, education) to gather relevant information for decision-making. Analyze risk and protective factors to determine the appropriate level of intervention. Make threshold decisions in line with local safeguarding procedures and statutory guidance. Provide clear, evidence-based recommendations for next steps, including Early Help, Child in Need, or Child Protection pathways. Maintain accurate and timely case records using case management systems. Participate in multi-agency strategy discussions and planning meetings. Ensure all actions comply with safeguarding legislation, policies, and best practices. Escalate complex or high-risk cases to senior practitioners or managers as appropriate. Contribute to the continuous improvement of MASH processes and inter-agency collaboration.
