Responsibilities
- Install and maintain wiring, control and lighting systems
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers
- Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools
- Prepare plans and specifications for the procurement of parts and supplies on assigned projects
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Work with crew members to satisfy all daily site needs & entire team effort
- Reading safety/employment manuals and other work-related documents
- Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly facility
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned
- Perform a wide variety of tasks related to the ongoing project, as directed
- Communicate effectively with crew members and site supervision
- Moving, stacking and organizing building materials and debris
- Assist in measuring, cutting, or shaping wood, plastic and other materials
- What You Bring:
- 2+ Years of electrician related schooling or field experience
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
- Possess effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently within a team
- Ability to solve complex problems using logical reasoning and critical thinking
- Willing and able to travel to multiple sites within Phoenix area as directed by site supervision
- Possess a phone and willing to use to communicate with team and site supervision
- Strong mathematical knowledge is an asset.
