DIS-TRAN Steel Transfer Portal - Team Lead- FAB

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; at least one year of DIS-TRAN experience required
• Fabrication experience is required
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook is preferred
• Epicor experience preferred
• Self‐motivated with the ability to work well with others
• Ability to effectively communicate, both written and orally
• Thorough understanding of Fitting, Welding and Cutting SOP
• Thorough understanding of employee JSA

DIS-TRAN Steel has a job opening for the position of Team Leader in Plant 1, FAB on day shift. The Team Leader will be responsible for leading, coaching, mentoring, and training a small team in order to achieve required production levels. This position will oversee areas of the shop in order to ensure that production is moving forward. The Team Leader will enforce safety standards at all times.
