Financial Management Analyst

About the role

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the G-8 DIVISION of US MARINE CORPS FORCES, CENTRAL CMD. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyze data for various financial reports (e.g., budget formulation, budget execution, accounting, audit readiness); coordinate the analysis and review of instructions, policies, and procedures for financial management reporting and recording; identify, analyze, and resolve a range of budgetary problems to develop alternative methods of funding and the formulation of budget estimates for programs to achieve systems objectives; identify and evaluate financial systems design methodologies from industry and other government organizations; and brief a wide range of audiences regarding financial information, concepts and resolutions Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/0500/financial-administration-and-program-series-0501/ Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
