Job Description/Preferred Qualifications We are looking for Associate Test Engineers Trainees for various positions in manufacturing. This is a 12-month trainee program for students working towards an Associate's Degree. You must be okay working 40 hours a week during the summer months and 20 hours a week during the school year. Job Description Assist with performing the set-up, calibration, and testing of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment. Work on assignments that are complex in nature where independent action and a high degree of initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations. Simple troubleshooting as needed. Qualifications, but not limited to: Ability to work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment is required You must be okay working 20 hrs minimum a week Basic understanding of optics, mechanical, and electrical principles is helpful Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Demonstrate excellent organization skills, with logical approach to problem solving, good time management and task prioritization. Willingness to learn, collaborate effectively within and across teams, and strive for continuous improvement You can stand, sit, bend, and periodically lift 50 pounds with assistance Familiar with Microsoft Office
