He is Responsible for Plant Maintenance & Modification Jobs at E- Block. 1. Ensure smooth day-to-day maintenance of plant equipment and uninterrupted operation of utility systems during General shifts. 2. Coordinate with Production Officers and other departments to resolve maintenance and utility-related issues promptly. 3. Maintain and update the Daily work with all relevant operational and maintenance activities. 4. Allocate and supervise maintenance work among technicians and workmen as per planning and breakdown requirements. 5. Prepare overtime records and daily attendance of shift employees and submit the same to the Time Office. 6. Ensure proper documentation, recording, and closure of work orders as per established procedures. 7. Review Maintenance Job orders (SAP), communicate pending activities, and distribute work effectively to the next shift team. 8. Monitor and ensure timely completion of breakdown and planned maintenance jobs and verify the quality of work performed. 9. Maintain safe working conditions and promote good housekeeping and environmental practices across the plant. 10. Monitor the usage of PPE and respiratory protection equipment and ensure their proper maintenance and cleanliness. 11. Identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and initiate immediate corrective and preventive actions. 12. Conduct EHS training and awareness programs for operators, helpers, and contract workers. 13. Actively participate as a member of the EHS Core Team, as nominated by the Department Head. 14. Report all incidents, accidents, near misses, and occupational illnesses to the concerned superiors without delay. 15. Regularly inspect the work area to identify hazards and report unsafe conditions and practices to management. Assume responsibilities of the immediate senior during their absence to ensure continuity of operations and maintenance activities. Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
