How you will make an impact: Design simulation models for high-speed optical modem systems Execute simulations and document technical results Develop signal processing functions using Matlab and C++ models Analyze system performance and identify opportunities for optimization Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to review designs Contribute design feedback and propose improvements to development processes Apply digital signal processing methods to solve complex communication challenges The must haves: Education: Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering OR Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering Working toward a Master's or post-graduate degree with a focus on digital signal processing Application of engineering mathematics including linear algebra, FFT/IFFT, Laplace transform, Z-transform, signal analysis, probability, and statistics Programming using Matlab, Python, and C or C++ Application of debugging and problem-solving techniques in engineering contexts Ability to operate both independently and within multidisciplinary teams Communication of technical concepts across varied audiences
