About the role

Responsibilities

- Monitor freight markets, vessel positions, and industry developments to identify business opportunities and provide market intelligence.
- Oversee post-fixture activities, including charter party compliance, claims, laytime, and operational performance.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Technical, and Finance teams to ensure smooth voyage execution.
- Lead and mentor chartering and operations personnel while supporting the company's commercial growth objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in vessel chartering, commercial shipping, tanker operations, or related maritime sectors.
- Strong knowledge of charter parties, freight markets, voyage economics, and shipping operations.
- Proven experience in charter negotiations, vessel fixing, and stakeholder management.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic shipping environment.
