Senior Epic General Pharmacy Billing Consultant

Responsibilities

• Participate in initiative-related meetings to represent revenue cycle interests and provide subject matter expertise
• Identify and communicate downstream impacts of pharmacy build decisions on Hospital Billing (HB), Professional Billing (PB), and Claims teams
• Provide build guidance, advising on how proposed builds affect billing workflows and revenue cycle outcomes
• Collaborate closely with billing team members to support and inform build efforts
• Support the expansion of compound medication offerings within the Epic pharmacy build
• Required Qualifications
• Epic certification (required)
• Demonstrated experience across all HB, PB, and Claims modules
• Strong background in Epic build, with the ability to translate build decisions into revenue cycle impact assessments
• Proven experience as a revenue cycle consultant in a healthcare/Epic environment
• Required Certifications
• Epic HB Certification
• Epic HB Claims Certification
• Epic PB Certification
• Ideal Candidate Profile
• A well-rounded revenue cycle professional who is comfortable working cross-functionally, can speak knowledgeably to both technical build considerations and downstream billing/claims implications, and has direct experience supporting pharmacy-related Epic builds.
