REQ10415 Coordinator, Event & Operations (Open) TITLE: Coordinator, Event & Operations Division: Entertainment Operations Department: Entertainment Operations Reports to: Manager, Event & Operations Direct Reports: N/A Last Updated: Jan 2023 POSITION SUMMARY: Assist Event & Operations in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and priorities of all Event Program and activities to Studio City Event Center PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist Event Managers in all aspects of event operations. Coordinate part-time support staff with the appropriate Department, i.e. ushers and any other part-timers for designated events with the Company. Liaise and co-ordinate with hirers to establish and finalize their event needs and requirements per show Riders. Take an event from start to finish by overseeing all aspects of delivery with Promoter and various Departments. Liaise with Ticketing Department to ensure the right plan is configured before tickets go on sale. Help co-ordinate the sale of merchandise on site. Help co-ordinate promoter equipment needs with ETD Dept. Prepare and monitor event billing activities with Finance Manager and rest of the team. Prepare venue requirements as instructed, arrange and ensure the facilities are properly set up for the event. Provide on site support, response to any emergency situations Handle customer related issues and resolve guest complaints and escalate issues to Duty Manager. Handle ad-hoc projects/events as and when required Other duties as deemed necessary or as directed Adhere to all Company policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Degree or Diploma in a related discipline plus 1 year related hands-on experience in events related role preferred. Willing and able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as required. Well organized, meticulous, enthusiastic team player and self-starter Computer literacy, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Good working attitude and willing to learn Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese Experience in events related role is an advantage
