Research Assistant (12-Month Contract - SGD 2500 - SGD 3000) - JO 28763

Responsibilities

• Support content review processes by checking accuracy, consistency, and completeness across research materials and outputs
• Assist in proofreading, copyediting, and formatting of research manuscripts and reports
• Coordinate review workflows involving internal teams and external collaborators to ensure timely feedback and approval cycles
• Support preparation and collation of materials for dissemination activities, presentations, and stakeholder engagements
• Perform administrative support tasks including drafting emails, scheduling meetings, and documenting meeting minutes
• Maintain proper documentation of research workflows, data handling processes, and project outputs to ensure transparency and traceability
• Assist the team with general coordination and operational support for ongoing research projects
• Key Requirements:
• Background in social sciences such as psychology, sociology, economics, media/communication, or related fields
• Prior experience in research support roles is advantageous
• Familiarity with qualitative and/or quantitative research methods is preferred
• Understanding of social science research methodologies and basic statistical reporting is an advantage
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in data handling tools such as Excel; knowledge of SPSS, R, Python
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
