Unposting Date: 2026-06-17 11:59 PM CBC Network Radio is looking for two Associate Producers to be assigned to the program Unreserved. These positions can be based anywhere near a CBC Location. There is a temporary 15 month full time position and a 12 month full time position available. The Program Unreserved is the radio space for Indigenous community, culture and conversation. It is an hour-long weekly program and podcast that brings Indigenous perspectives to stories and showcases Indigenous storytelling and experiences from across the country. In your role as an Associate Producer, you have a strong connection to the Indigenous Communities and a deep knowledge of Indigenous issues. You want to create content that develops and amplifies Indigenous stories, voices and talent. Reporting to the Senior Producer, you are dogged in generating story ideas, tracking down experts and storytellers, and pitching stories. Your Role: As an Associate Producer, you are a talented writer/storyteller, a strong critical thinker, and have relevant experience in broadcasting. With appropriate direction from one or more producers, you will participate in the production, direction and/or post-production of a radio program and/or program segment; produce content and encourage conversation in our social media community; and write online articles.
