We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Analyst. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following : Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 1. Provides general accounting and reporting services to the Regional Supply and Trading Finance organizations in Asia Pacific, London and Australia that may include but are not limited to: Assists the timely settlement of payables and the issuance of invoices to third‑party counterparties, affiliates, and intercompany entities through the interpretation of contractual terms and the thorough validation of critical information against required supporting documentation Coordinates with Charterers, Voyage Managers, Traders, Trading Analysts, and Schedulers to ensure the accurate recording of accrual entries in SAP, supported by invoices or other requisite documentation that may not yet be available prior to the month-end close. Facilitate the preparation of cash payments and receipts forecast reporting. Supports and provide comments for the balance sheet accounts reconciliation including trace and escalation. Works with the Charterers and/or Voyage Managers and/or Trader, Trading Analysts and/or Schedulers to resolve issues related to earning in VIP/SRA. Accounts for all associated secondary costs to physical transactions. Accounts for other instruments used to hedge exposure in SRA and SAP. Analyzing and verifying the international and domestic supply and trading financial results and coordination of variance analysis, corporate-to-core earnings, and trade volume analysis for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the international and domestic global S&T consolidations and reporting teams. Preparation and presentation of management reports, earnings insight and commentaries to local finance and trading leadership. Ensuring monthly accounting close is timely, smooth, and accurate with adequate controls in place. Close coordination with internal and external stakeholders including the Trading, Operations, Shipping, and other Finance Teams Handles ad-hoc inquiries from Charterers, Voyage Managers, Traders, Trading Analysts and Schedulers as well as counterparties (3rd Party, Affiliates or Intercompany). Handles all other general accounting services that may be required by the Charterers, Voyage Managers, Traders, Trading Analysts, Schedulers, BU from time to time. Performs month-end reconciliations including GL Account reconciliation, VIP-SAP or SRA-SAP reconciliation, inventory reconciliation, and address Interco imbalances. Leading special projects and representing Finance on functional and cross-functional teams. 2. Partnering with Manila Midstream Accounting Leadership Team in delivering reliable and cost-efficient services: Monitors effectiveness of applicable controls, assesses gaps, develops corrective plans, reports on progress made, and results. Establishes processes and procedures to ensure conformance and alignment with corporate requirements Supports internal and external financial audits; serves as a contact for internal and external audit requirements. Provides guidance on financial internal control issues. Assists in executing the team's work plans and support its revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
