Responsibilities
- Drive standards excellence . Lead the creation and revision of substation design standards, template drawings, specifications, guides, and technical aids; gather input, build consensus, and communicate updates that elevate consistency and clarity.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred, other combinations of education and experience considered
- Licensure: Wisconsin and/or Michigan PE is beneficial, but not required.
- Experience: 5+ years in substation design, equipment specification, or standards development; field/maintenance/commissioning/construction support experience is a plus.
- Standards savvy: Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., IEEE, NESC, NERC ) and utility engineering practices; adept at documentation, calculations, drafting review, and standardization.
- Professional strengths: Clear, structured communicator; collaborative team player; analytical, decisive, and field aware; follows through on commitments and keeps stakeholders informed.
