About the role
In our agile team we are looking for an Agile Test Engineer who would take care of Quality Assurance of our products targeted in the private sector and for large customers. Job description
Responsibilities
- As a member of the agile team, cooperate with Software Engineers to verify newly developed functionalities in the product.
- Identify new defects in the product by means of automated and non-automated testing.
- Track defects in bug tracking tools and verify the fixes of previously found defects.
- Prepare the environments needed for testing purposes together with System Engineers.
- Working with Windows, Linux and MacOS
- Maintain and extend automated testing frameworks in cooperation with other Test Engineers and System Engineers.
- Create and maintain internal documentation of product functionalities from QA perspective.
- Take part in team activities like scrum meetings, planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Job requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with software testing.
- Knowledge of scripting in Bash and/or Python.
- Experience with Robot framework or similar technologies.
- Experience with project management / issue-tracking software (e.g. Jira).
- Critical thinking and willingness to learn and improve.
- Good communication skills.
- Desire to improve things, even if they are "good enough".
- Ability to understand technical and write internal documentation in English.
Requirements
- Experience with Ansible, Virtualization platforms and containerization technologies.
- Understanding of agile principles and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with the administration of Windows operating system and PowerShell scripting.
- Experience in using the Git version control system and Git-based platforms (e.g. BitBucket).
- Familiarity with AI tools or agents
- ISTQB certification.
- Basic wage component (Brutto): from 2500 EUR
- Financial bonus based on performance paid twice a year up to 10% from the base salary paid during the evaluation period (usually 6 months).
- The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
