Test Technician Staff

About the role

Purpose Statement: To ensure the quality and reliability of Plexus products by meticulously operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining test equipment. Through collaborative problem-solving and continuous learning, strive to maintain efficient testing processes, identify and resolve product defects, and ultimately contribute to exceeding customer expectations and supporting Plexus's commitment to quality. Key Job Accountabilities: Regarded as a "go to" technical leader and mentor within their Manufacturing discipline; and/or regarded as a cross-discipline leader and mentor for discipline specific process development, process improvement or troubleshooting. Developing process control and improvement for teams to Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes or production as it applies to their role. Serves as a technical and/or project team lead providing technical guidance/ training, controlling scope, schedule, Risk and ensuring overall technical success through Plexus Manufacturing Processes / cross discipline OR supplier coordination, as it applies to their role. Leads local continuous improvement activities associated with their discipline or manufacturing processes AND provide support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role. Expertise in Understanding of Equipment / Process control / Safety / Risk Awareness / setup awareness / operation of, as it applies to their role. Education/Experience Qualifications: Associate's Degree with 6 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
