$3000 Sign on Bonus. Get Paid On Time. Every Time. This position requires you to be on the road 7 to 14 days at a time, averaging 12,000 miles per month, available for dispatch 24 days a month. Resets on the road as required. Running open-board, Canada/U.S. long-haul Southbound freight could depart from any of our Bison locations into any of the lower 48 states Northbound freight could go into any of the Canadian Provinces and Territories Required to drive in B.C. including Highway 1 and Highway 3, 12 months a year Additional work might be available upon request Flexible schedules requiring weekend departures Regional freight will be required Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol Candidate Profile: Owner-Operator with 24 months tractor-trailer experience Tractor must be equipped with a DEF system Must be U.S. qualified Must have a minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience Must have a minimum of 6 months B.C. mountain experience Must be able to work weekends Must have a valid Class 1/AZ License Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more, Driver assist is required on occasion Reliable, flexible, and punctual Strong communication skills Values safety Are you registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse?
