Front Desk Concierge - ROOST Detroit

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency
• Manage check ‑ ins, check ‑ outs, and reservation inquiries
• Respond promptly to guest requests, questions, and concerns
• Monitor building access and maintain a secure, calm environment
• Conduct property walkthroughs and report any maintenance or safety issues
• Handle phone calls, emails, and guest communications
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and daily reports
• Support light administrative tasks and prepare materials for the team
• Ensure the lobby and front desk areas remain clean, organized, and guest ‑ ready
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management as needed

Requirements

• 1+ year of front desk, concierge, or guest ‑ service experience (hotel or luxury residential preferred)
• Strong communication skills and a naturally warm, guest ‑ focused demeanor
• Ability to remain composed, professional, and attentive during quiet or high ‑ pressure moments
• Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions
• Basic proficiency with reservation systems and front ‑ office software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Flexible schedule with availability for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
