Responsibilities

• Knowledge and Skills:
• Able to work 12-hour shifts (7a-7p; 7p-7a) to meet customer demands.
• Able to work overtime as required.
• Effective communication skills
• Great attendance
• Possess a good mechanical aptitude and intermediate math skills.
• Able to use hand tools to setup and adjust equipment.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Experienced in using rulers, calipers, and other measuring devices.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
• Knowledge of how to read machine blueprints and parts list.
• Physically capable of bending, kneeling, standing/walking on cement floors for long periods.
• Preferred Education:
• H.S. diploma or equivalent

The Perfect Binder Operator will operate a soft cover Kolbus Binder with fully integrated quality control features: Signature Recognition, Thickness Calipers on each feeder and Mill Unit, Skewed Signature Detection, Miss and Double Detection at the Cover Station, Cold Back Book Rejection.
