About the role
The Innovation Architect sits within Miro's Professional Services organization, specifically inside the MOST (Miro Optimization Services & Training) program. MOST is Miro's subscription-based PS offering for enterprise customers. Each customer gets 240 hours per year to work with Miro experts on designing, implementing, and scaling how their teams collaborate. Innovation Architects work alongside Customer Success Managers, Technical Architects, and Engagement Managers to deliver structured, outcomes-driven engagements across some of Miro's most complex accounts. Enterprise customers have the hours. What they often don't have is someone who can translate where they want to go into a concrete, sequenced plan for getting there inside Miro. That's the gap this role fills. The Innovation Architect is the strategic and architectural layer of a MOST engagement. They run discovery, diagnose how teams actually work today, design the governance and collaboration infrastructure to support where the customer is heading, and build the roadmap for how 240 hours get used across the year. They also own AI workflow advisory, helping customers move from ad hoc Miro usage to intelligent, repeatable collaboration systems. This role is open because the program is growing and the complexity of enterprise accounts has outpaced what CSMs and Technical Architects can absorb on top of their core scope. The right candidate has a consulting background, is fluent in collaboration platforms, and is comfortable running live discovery with a skeptical CTO and a frustrated Product Lead at the same time. They own delivery quality from day one.
Responsibilities
- Own the solution roadmap for a portfolio of MOST accounts: run structured discovery, map the customer's operating model, and design a sequenced 240-hour plan tied directly to their business outcomes
- Architect end-to-end Miro implementations covering workspace governance, access models, naming conventions, and lifecycle management for organizations operating at scale
- Lead AI workflow advisory as a core workstream: diagnose collaboration inefficiencies and build intelligent, automated solutions using Miro's AI capabilities and adjacent platform integrations
- Facilitate executive and cross-functional working sessions including Agile planning, design thinking, strategy, and innovation workshops
- Drive adoption through change management: stakeholder alignment, communication planning, phased rollouts, and hands-on coaching on Miro best practices
- Track progress against defined outcomes across the full subscription lifecycle, surface risks early, and adjust the plan as priorities shift
- Contribute reusable delivery assets (templates, frameworks, playbooks) that raise the consistency floor across PS and reduce time-to-value for future engagements
Requirements
- 6+ years in consulting, change management, Agile transformation, or professional services supporting enterprise organizations
- Experience leading structured discovery with VP-level and above stakeholders and turning ambiguous findings into a clear, prioritized plan
- Working knowledge of collaboration governance: workspace architecture, access models, naming conventions, and lifecycle management at enterprise scale
- Fluency in Miro or a comparable collaboration platform (Figma, Lucid, Confluence, JIRA)
- Hands-on experience designing AI-powered workflow optimization: automation, prompt-based workflows, or AI-assisted tooling in an enterprise environment
- Able to simplify complex governance and architecture topics for non-technical audiences without losing the thread
- Comfortable working across IT, Product, Design, Strategy, and PMO simultaneously, often with conflicting stakeholder priorities
