  • Familiarity with VLANs, Spanning-Tree, wireless technologies, and WAN/BAN routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
  • Exposure to Juniper, Cisco, Nortel, or Avaya networking products.
  • ITIL Foundation or Practitioner certification (desirable).
  • Defence or enterprise ICT environment experience (desirable).
  • Candidates must hold a current Defence clearance to be considered. This role will require you to hold and maintain an minimum Australian Government NV1 Security Clearance.

You'll gain and expand your hands-on experience supporting Telstra's Defence customers and networks, learning from real-world challenges and working with experienced professionals. This permanent Defence role is based onsite in Canberra (preferred), Sydney, or Melbourne. You'll work on a rotating 24x7 shift roster and you are required to work all shifts onsite. Active NV1 clearance is essential, and bonus points for NV2 clearance.
