About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all aspects of the Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) program

  • Conduct faculty evaluations and facilitate regular staff meetings

  • What You Bring
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification (required)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on aviation maintenance experience
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience , preferably with administrative responsibilities
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, compliance-oriented educational setting
  • Exceptional communication, mentoring, and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CampusNexus experience a plus
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel occasionally
  • Preferred Certifications
  • NCATT AET Certification
  • FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License

  • This position is predominantly a daytime schedule but requires a flexibility to be available to our evening students, and community events.
