About the role
People are a key part of the Group's strategy and HR partner with our business units in building a vibrant, customer focused and high integrity culture. Human Resources are the custodians of the employee lifecycle - from acquiring talent, through to leadership development and training, internal mobility, advising on employee relations, and delivering remuneration and benefits programs. The broader Reward team (or chapter) encompasses Reward Consulting, Reward Governance and Global mobility and Executive Reward. It aims to assist the business in maximising its return on its greatest investment: our people. We're introducing a new AI Reward Manager role that combines deep reward expertise with advanced analytics and AI capability - enabling us to accelerate our automation and continuous improvement agenda. This role will play a pivotal part in transforming how we deliver performance and reward outcomes through smarter tools, data-driven insights, and streamlined processes. You'll make an immediate impact by advancing automation initiatives, uplifting the broader team's technical capability, and supporting strategic Reward initiatives aimed at creating a better experience for our people. You will work at the intersection of reward strategy and frameworks, data, automation and employee experience - using analytics, AI and digital tools to make our processes smarter, faster, scalable and insightful. Key responsibilities of the role include: Design and implement integrated reward strategies (remuneration, performance, recognition) using data, automation and AI-enabled insights to improve outcomes and scalability. Lead initiatives that modernise reward tools, reporting and processes, including identifying opportunities to automate manual activity, streamline workflows and improve the quality and accessibility of reward insights. Coach and uplift the team's capability in analytics, automation, and digital tools to embed continuous improvement across the function. Explore and embed practical AI use cases across the Reward function, including intelligent reporting, workflow automation, insight generation, scenario modelling and continuous process improvement. Providing consultative performance and reward advice across prioritised projects, bringing both strategic and technical perspectives. Providing innovative performance and reward solutions that meet emerging business needs and regulatory requirements. Identify and propose data-led improvements to reward frameworks that enhance business insights and employee experience. Monitoring emerging trends in AI, automation and data-driven HR practices, and advising on opportunities to keep our reward function at the forefront of industry innovation. Strong technical and analytical skills, including advanced Excel, data visualisation tools, and practical experience using AI, automation or digital productivity platforms to improve outcomes . Demonstrated experience in coaching and uplifting skills in both individuals and teams. Experience in delivering automation or process improvement initiatives in HR or Reward contexts. Strategic thinking and commercial acumen, with a focus on delivering measurable value. Superior stakeholder management and consulting capability, with the ability to simplify complexity and influence decisions. Curiosity to dig deeper, explore problems and underlying challenges. Understanding of the financial services environment is preferred but not essential. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Finance or business related field.
