Responsibilities

  • Maintains an inquiry tracking database and a log of active and completed proposals , monitors the quotes , hit rat e , and keeps up to date hot prospect listing.
  • Equipment trouble shooting on process aspect with equipment process audit and recommendations.
  • Reviews of contract language to assure compliance with company guidelines and refer to our legal department as needed.

  • Wil work closely with Engineering for problem resolution and proposal development.
  • Assists the Senior Manager with forecasting including but not limited to warranty, hot prospects listing, potential bookings , and margins.
  • Monitors programs and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assists in the resolutions of customer complaints and disputes by implementing corrective and preventive action as needed.
  • Assists and recommends processes and improvements with respect to archiving our historical data for any current and future research needs.
  • P referred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College i n Mechanical and/or equivalent exp erience in engineering , plus sales and/or service-related activities.
  • Understanding of pulp mill operation as it relates to the Vacuum Washers product line.
  • Strong organizational skills relate d to product standardization and the setup / maintenance of workflow operating systems is required .
  • Excellent technical verbal and written skills required .

Are you ready for a job change? There is an immediate opening for a Product Sales Manager- Vacuum Washers position. This position will report directly to Marcos Braga , Senior Product Manager, Vacuum washers . The Product Sales Manager is responsible for serving as a product technical sales expert and a point of contact for internal and external customers. This position will play a critical role in the success of the overall group , so a business minded approach is required . You will aid in coordinating the development and preparation of proposals and be responsible for building and expanding the product line business, collaborating with sales, field service, customer service , repair/ rebuild , supply chain, inventory, stockroom, manufacturing , and engineering resources. This position will b e part of a project team executing installation of new / rebuilt equipment projects , hands on experience is a plus. Travel required: 5 0 % - 7 0 % of the time. Some international travel may be required periodically.
