Process Safety Manager (Petrochemical/LNG)

Responsibilities

• Own and upgrade our engineering governance, operational rules, and safety protocols across all company facilities.
• Lead our Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives (HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, and incident investigations) ensuring everything complies with local regulations and global industry codes.
• Oversee asset integrity and maintenance strategies to maximize plant uptime, operational discipline, and overall performance.
• Act as the main technical authority for process, mechanical, electrical, and risk management disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance as we transition our operations from pilot phases toward full commercial deployment.
• Work closely with the CEO and senior management, keeping them informed on technical risks, operational readiness, and strategic engineering upgrades.

Requirements

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering (advanced degrees or professional certifications are a big plus).
• Experience: At least 10 years of engineering leadership in high-hazard environments like petrochemicals, refining, gas processing, or LNG.
• Energy Transition Knowledge: Experience with hydrogen, syngas, biomass, or renewable fuels is highly advantageous.
• Technical Expertise: Deep, practical knowledge of process safety management and standard industry codes (like API, ASME, NFPA, and ISO).
